Meet the Team

Phil (Partner)

Partner Phil started working in 1984 with VW/Audi dealers Trust Motors in Edinburgh. He qualified there in 1988. He left the trade after approx. 12 years to work in tourism in 1996. This exciting change extensively expanded his knowledge of Europe and so began a passion for Italy and all things Italian. During this time Phil was contacted by the manager of Edinburgh Audi and he was invited to return to the workshop. This suited his "newly married" status in 2000! An opportunity to move to Dunedin BMW followed but when the chance arose in 2002 to move to Glenvarigill Ferrari/Maserati/Porsche came up, Phil jumped at it!

Martin (Partner)

Martin served his apprenticeship in Edinburgh with Mitsubishi from 1986 reaching the dizzy heights of Foreman/Service Advisor. He moved to Eastern BMW in 1996 and completed all Technician Level Certificates.
In 1999 he was asked to join the team at Glenvarigill Edinburgh. On starting with the company he initially worked with Porsche with his sights set on Ferrari - Maserati. In 2001 he scooped ( Technician Of Year ) covering 12 dealerships.
Martin left Glenvarigill as the Service Advisor in 2004 to start up on his own. Just over a year later he teamed up with Phil to form MP SUPERCARS in January 2006.
